I was at Rivers Barracks from '83 to mid '85....in the 5/3rd field artillary (I think I remember that correctly). I was a real loser....the fellow cannon dudes were just slack and, well, very ghetto....basically I just plodded myself through my time there in a zombie-like state! I was 18 and just wanted to get back to civilian life...was "in" for 2 years. Are there any photos of the Rivers Barracks area??? Haven't found any on the net...just an ink map drawing of the layout.
