we only had good food when the AIG were in town to inspect the barracks and mess...after they left it was powdered everything down to the eggs...sometimes we had real potatoes...you mentioned pictures..maybe of Rivers Barracks??..motorpool etc ??..would really like to see those....I had some pics of the Kaserne but through the years of moving I stupidly tossed them away as clutter...even my truck I had two great pics of my truck from C batty 2/92...she was C-7...3/4 ton ...loved that truck...wish I had her now....and wouldn't mind the trailer i pulled behind her...I was in commo...always looking for pictures from Rivers...now it has totaly been destroyed with German businesses and it's all gone to hell////
