I was one of the first women at 3/79th from 1978 to 1981. I was Jane Garner then, & my then-husband was Mel Garner, a surveyor. I worked in Admin and the mail room. I hear the Zoo is a parking lot now!? I remember a SGT Bowman, but this was nearly 30 years ago and I don't remember anyone too clearly from away back then, except my best friend Sally Watkins. I loved living in Germany, especially since I was only 20 and too stupid to realize that the Germans hated us being in their country. I'll never forget Europe and Rivers Barracks. Reserve Force, UGH!! It wasn't all good, but it was all real, and I grew a lot through those years.
