 Sorry to tell ya Brother Smith, but "HardCharger" was around long, long before '79. I was assinged there in '73 just before Thompson changed command (Went to Lance school with Schoffner) and if it wasn't already the nic then it soon became the nick under "The Shark" or "Bigfoot". Kind of an aside.......I worked for Shoffner numerous times after that.....good guy once ya got to know him. By the By......anbody out there remember Hank Stratman?
