In the US, the typical age you are when you graduate is 17-18 yrs old. If you are a genius, you can skip grades IF the schools/teachers OK it. You can also graduate early by taking a test, but again, ONLY if the school/teachers OK it.

They tested me because they thought I was slow, cause I kept doing poorly in school, but I tested well above average, so they 'allowed' me to take the test to graduate.
