I am haunted by a ghostly kiss-
Never leaving my trembling lips.
Frightened and exhilarated, the haunting continues
Even in my dreams, this spirit constantly renews.
I am haunted by a heavy memory-
Weighing my mind with chains of agony.
Blood coursing and ebbing with such tremendous force
I could scream “I want you” till my soul went hoarse.
I am haunted by a lover who is not there-
Shadows form in the sheets we’d wear.
Day slips into blackness, the room grows darkly pale
Then come the ghosts who tease and constantly wail.
I am haunted by a ghostly touch-
Invisible fingers on my face give me such rush.
Then I remember that he is not there… only emptiness.
Help me Lord, exorcise the ghost of his love and kiss.
