Judge Milian, you showed regrettable ignorance on 2-24-05's show. After a woman expressed reticence to expose a family to a child protective agency, you coldly said it's best to turn a family in! WRONG!!! These agencies are fraught with corruption & power abuse. Children ARE HARMED by such intervention. Protecting those who make reports has made "vengeance reporting" a sick epidemic in America, but the victim of your tongue was obviously not one of those. She tried to help a child without subjecting her to the bloodless and cruel machinations of a toxic system. Ignorance, apathy, and "CYA" allow this flawed and dangerous entity to thrive-- with absolute power, which CORRUPTS ABSOLUTELY. Do some research, and you'll discover that career-advancement trumps child welfare, and blatant bigotry is RAMPANT in these agencies across the nation. Please believe me. I've seen children traumatized by these agencies! Check some websites, and open your eyes.
