I am very thankful for the dog park. I take my dog Otis as much as possible. It is very convient since I live close to two minutes away and is a blessing for my hyper puppy who needs to run and play after being cooped-up in the house for 8 hours at a time. I have a suggestion and have talked amoungist other dog owners that could make this dog park perfect! There are two or three mud areas towards the back fence of the park that constantly stayed filled with swampy-stinky mud. Not only is this unhealthy for our animals but is a pain everytime I bring Otis because he seems to run straight for it. My dog loves the water so he gets in the mud and then will punce on other dogs getting them all muddy and smelly. The main area that is the swampiest is never dry. If the area was filled in with rocks or whatever would work best would be so helpful. The other main area is by the cement area in the middle of the park.
This would be so greatful and I would even be willing to donate some money towards helping to get these areas fixed. I would like to be able to leave the dog park and go home and relax after a long day at work and not have to worry about batheing my dog and then cleaning out my car.
If anyone else seems to have the same problem with their dog and would also be willing to donate some money it would be great!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
