Paisano,
La cosa es que cada vez mas se está recurriendo al uso de VPN's, mi pregunta es ¿tengo que instalar un programa cliente por cada VPN a la que me tenga que meter?.

Por ejemplo, el primero que me hizo instalar un cliente VPN usaba cisco, ahora estoy en otro proyecto y usan CheckPoint ¿no se puede usar el mismo cisco, tengo que a fuerza usar el CheckPoint? ... y si mañana voy a otro proyecto y usan novell ¿voy a tener que instalar novell? ¿se me va a llenar la máquina de programas cliente VPN? ¿no hay un estándar?.

Y lo mismo para los mensajeros instantáneos, unos usan messenger de microsoft, otros tallard, otros yahoo, otros skype, otros google talk ¿no hay uno que los vea a todos? y me evite la monserga de estar instale e instale mensajeros instantaneos?
