Author: a naughty pixie
Subject: Well, I don't know about you, but real life is becoming more and more intrusive into my role-playing life lately. Stupid real-life getting in the way of my fun and enjoyment and general sense of well-being. And what's more, real-life has suddenly become full of evil teachers who make sure you spend plenty of time learning what you're supposed to learn in class by trying to figure out long, meaningless assignments at home. And then there's the even greater evil: the tests. At one point in time you are supposed to summon all of the knowledge you've managed to aquire in an entire semester, plus some knowledge you didn't aquire, and compress it all onto a long scantron with a number 2 pencil. Maybe I should be isolated from the rest of humanity until after finals.
In reply to: Void 's message, "Egads, but this board is certainly dead, isn't it? Or is everyone still sleeping off their turkey, and mashed taters with gravy, and stuffing, and cranberry sauce, and pie, and so on and so forth? I hope no one ate too much...oh, and happy belatedly late Turkey Day, all." on 19:56:15 11/29/03 Sat

[> Heh heh heh...you've started college now, eh naughtie pixie? I'm still a couple years away from that, but high-school's bad enough...I hate to think what college would be like. Good luck, though (it looks as though you're going to need it). -- Laughing-Fry, 15:44:19 12/03/03 Wed
