FT is all fine and dandy, I'll admit...except that there's one little thing about it that I don't like. Not to offend you or anything, but I really don't think FT is such a great idea, in my opinion at least.

See, think about it. If John goes home, for instance, to find his house being burgled, and the burglar attacks him and wounds him, that's going to affect his posts at the Forge because he will be hurt. Everything you would have previously done at the Forge would be inaccurate, because with him being hurt...well, if you fell off your bicycle and scraped up your knee, then went to a friend's house say an hour later, don't you think your scraped up knee would affect not only your movements, but your attitude?

Another example, for variety's sake. If, while at the marketplace, his betrothed tells him that it's all off and she hates his guts, that's definitely going to end up affecting the later posts, because he will likely be a lot more depressed than he would if you posted those before he learned that she didn't love him anymore. Does that make sense?

Maybe I'm just close-minded and traditional, but I don't really think FT is such a great thing, particularly if, in your RPs, you plan on doing things that may affect later posts (which, in my opinion, is at least half the reason why we RP in the first place, is to start with a char and take them through various experiences to see how they grow and change).

Savvy?

Hehe, pirate talk, eh?

'ello love,

Lol... yes, I do admit that there is a downside to FT, I never said that there wasn't, and don't worry, you didn't offend me. I'm sure that you will find in the days... weeks... months to come that I am quite opinionated myself. I was actually glad the hear another person's opinion.

Oh, and I am being patient. Like I said, I posted those above things out of boredom, but I'm over it now. Besides... I can always talk to meself if I get extremely bored O.o

Don't use past tense. On most RP sites (all that I've been on, anyway), we go by present tense, so try to avoid past tense or switching back and forth. Everyone makes the occasional slip - I've done it many times - but you should really try to stick to present tense...

And please please don't think I'm just picking on you because I don't like you. I'm just giving you a few words of advice. If I had time right now (which I don't), I would eagerly go reply to one of your posts, and I'm sure it'd be wonderful to RP with you...perhaps later I can manage a reply, but for now, ta ta.

Now see my darling Void, on all of the RPGs that I have played on, we all use past tense. Different people, different experiences, and I do admit that I tend to jump around a bit, and I will try to watch this in the future, but I will tell you right now... I'm a past tense kinda gal, and I'm sticking with it.

Have a nice day, and ta.
