3 Tablespoons butter
1 medium size onion, minced
1 lb. ground beef
1-10 1/2 oz. can tomatoe soup
1 1/2 cups cold water
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups uncooked wide noodles
1 can whole corn
1 cup grated cheddar cheese


Melt butter; add onion and saute over low heat until onion is tender. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Add tomatoe soup, water, salt, noodles, and corn. Mix; cover and cook slowly 10 minutes. Sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese. Cover; steam 25 - 30 minutes.

Another version called:


Talarena

1 lb ground beef
1 large onion
1 large green bell pepper
1 small garlic clove
1 16 oz. can tomatoes
1 16 oz. can cream style corn
1 16 oz. package noodles cooked
1/2 cup grated Velvetta cheese (Velvetta melts creamy)
Salt and pepper to taste.

Cook beef, add onion and pepper and cook intil tender, add garlic and tomatoes and simmer for 15 minutes. Stir in corn and noodles. Add salt and pepper. Place in greased baking dish and sprinkle cheese on top. Bake 30 min. at 350º
