Baked Custard (enough for 4 ramekins)
(heat oven to 300º)
1/2 Cup heavy whip cream
2 eggs
3 TBS melted real butter
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla
dash salt
nutmeg
Put all above in a bowl and blend well.
Place 4 ramekins in a baking dish with a couple inches of water in it. Spray ramekins with non stick spray. Pour mixture evenly into the ramekins. Sprinkle with nutmeg if desired. Place in middle rack in oven and bake until firm (30-40 min) Cool to room temp.
