Subject: Cheddar Cheese Biscuits

Cheddar Cheese Biscuits

2 cups flour
4 Tsp baking powder
1 Tsp sugar
1 Tsp salt
1/2 Tsp cream of tarter
6 Tbs cold butter, cut into small pieces
2/3 cup sharp Shredded cheddar cheese
3/4 cup milk

Stie together the first 6 ingredients. Use a pastry blender to cut in the butter till peas size.
Stir in the milk. Stir just till moist.
Turn onto a floured board. Knead 12 times.
Roll 1/2 inch thick and cut dough into 1-1/2 inch rounds.

Bake 10-12 minutes for a 1-1/2 round cutter and add 2 minutes more if you use a 2 inch round cutter
