Subject: Granny Cake

Granny Cake

2 c flour
1 1/2 c sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
1 20 oz. undrained can crushed pineapple
2 eggs
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c nuts
1 stick margarine
1/2 c sugar
1 c evaporated milk
1 tsp vanilla

Mix flour, sugar, salt and soda. Add pineapple and eggs. Mix well. Pour into greased 9x13" pan. Spread brown sugar and nuts over top. Bake at 350º 30 min. Bring to boil margarine, sugar, milk and vanilla. Pour over warm cake (can poke holes in the cake so it will "soak up" the flavor).
Note: Canned fruit coctail can be used instead of pineapple.
