Hey Val! What's up? I used to listen to your radio show all the time during the school year but since I've been on summer vacation I even miss Dan Mason's show! But now since school starts this Thursday (Yay NDCL~ Yea right!) I'm a sooo excited to re-listen again. I love Jimmy's Joke Shack but you but I could live without Drew- He gets kinda annoying after awhile. But hey you gotta take the bad with the good. Thanks Val for making the 40 minute drive from my house to school so enjoyable.

I always wondered what the spunky Valentine looked like, for some odd reason,I think you are kinda cute! I always listen to your show on my way to work because you don't talk me to death. Also when you do get to gabbing you are funny, unlike the boring and repititious slap stick humor the other DJ's subject people to, the one's who continue to make a living on the air aside from the fact that they stopped being entertaining in the 70's. Good Luck in your career and hey good luck pro-creating, I think it is cool you talk about it on the air, if those other folks can't handle it then they can turn the knob and listen to the other dusty DJ's that are stuck in non-stop looping 70's re-run show! I think that it is ok that you still live at home. Paying of debt is a good thing and it is respectable. I am 22 and am a single mom and I still live at home. A lot of people think that it is bad that I am raising my child at my parents house but things are expensive and so I understand. Tell everyone to stop giving you shit about it. I love the show and I think that you guys are doing a great job. Keep up the good work and I will keep listening.

Val I love your show. I listen to you every morning. I like how you always say what on your mind. There too many people who afraid to do that. Whenever you are on air I always turn the radio up really loud.The only thing I don't like is Drew and his attitude. He's a jerk. You sould teach him how to behave like a gentleman or just get rid of him all together. He was being mean about the girls who were sending pictures in for Vin Deisel. Hey Val, I just wanted to thank you for keeping up the good work..... I drive a delivery truck, and the only thing to do is listen to the radio in the morning.... So every day from 5:00 till noon my radio is tuned to 103.7 the Q, some times I catch myself laughing out loud, it's great!!!!

I listen to your show every morning on my hour ride to work and decided today to check out the pics. Intern Andrew looks like a baby but He is SMART living with momma paying off the debt. My name is Leigh Ann and boy I am so glad to finally get this off my chest. For the past 4 months I have been really depressed. You see I just got out of an abusive relationship being almost 20 (on the 24th I will be 20) that is a real shocker. My last boyfriend slammed me into walls and the last straw was when I told him I wanted to get my stuff out of his car as he was getting into his car and then he floored the gas while I still had hold of his car. Needless to say I now have scars from it. Ever since then I have been scared of relationships. Until I found your show. Every morning I listen religiously to you and find you to be very amusing and uplifting. I just wanted to say that I love your show. The most recent thing I most enjoyed was the Vin Diesel interview. I think that if you could help me get a date with him that would hopefully cure me. LOL Anyway if you could pass on my info to him I would be much greatful to you. I really need this in my life I am doing much better now and have more confidence in myself. I also heard your pole dancing segment. I used to be a dancer myself. I never got around to the pole seeing as I thought I would bust my tail. Sorry this is so long.....Oh by the way my birthday is coming up so hint hint with the Vin Diesel thing that would be a perfect gift.

I heard your discussion this morning about growing up with weird people on your street. I couldn't think of anyone, then suddenly it dawned on me: WE were the cat people! We lived in the country and there were always cats being dropped off in our vicinity. They always found a warm welcome, so there you go--there's lots of us around I guess! Love your show by the way!!

Typically I do the majority of my show from LA, but one thing you may notice is that I talk alot about the cities we are on in. That means alot of flying to different cities throughout the year....and doing the show from there as well. I'm back in Cleveland again in two weeks.

I think its important for a show to keep abreast of what is happening in a city that you are part of......too many radio shows don't care. Alot of dj's nowadays just want to be big "syndicated" stars.....blah...blah...blah

To the entire morning crew, you are totally GREAT! I just wanted to let you guys know, I listen to your show during my long drive to work and keep the radio tuned to 96.5 all day at the office. My coworkers and I talk about your show everyday. I always listen to you guys in the morning, it gets my day goin..................BUT today i thought i was going to wreck my car just hearing Vin Deisels voice, i would like to get to know him and i heard him say he was single!!!!! My two cents regarding Drew: If he is saving up enough money for a down payment on a house or another important investment in his future, then he is very smart to continue living with his parents. If not, he will wish he had moved out as soon as possible and begun living responsibly on his own.
As for Amy, she is wasting her time on anyone she has to wait for. She should begin, today, to decide what she wants to do for herself. This will gain the right person's attention and everything will fall into place soon enough.

It all depends on the people, I guess. If you think that living together before marriage will help your marriage in the end, then cool. I wouldnt do it. My boyfriend and I have talked about it, at first I thought it would be cool, then got to thinking that if we went and bought a house together or got an apartment together and both of our names were on the lease/ morgage and we broke up .. who would get the house? I love JJ. Then theres the whole college thing. We are both in college. Hes a Junior and im a Sophmore. Maybe after I was finished with college then I would think about it.

My husband and I lived together a year before marriage and hve been together now 5 years, have wonderful daughter and I could not ask for a better life. He is my support, strength and the best husband a woman could ask for. First of all I think that you should know that Wicca is an ancient religion it predates Christianity and it is a BEAUTIFUL religion. Most witches now-adays are eclectic (meaning they practice their own form of Wicca) Wiccans believe in Nature. We see our Gods and Godesses in everything. When Christianity came around witches were persecuted for their beliefs which is why Christianity is a more practiced religion. We do not worship the devil, we do not sacrifice live animals or humans for that matter. Ancient Druids were known to do this however. We believe in energy and that every living thing has energy (plants etc..) We learn to harness this energy and send it out to do our bidding for us. I think before you decide that Wicca isnt real you should do a little reading up on the subject.

I completely agree with Rhiannon and am a witch as well. If everyone would stop all the blindness and only listening to gossip they would know that all religions are fascinating and before they speak they should have knowledge of them all. Witchcraft is a nature based wonderful religion and true the oldest as well. Just for your reads information try at least reading a book or two by Gerald Gardner or Scott Cunningham. Hi Val and the rest of the gang!! I wanted to comment on living together before marriage. I think it depends on the person. You really get to know a person when living with them, it is sort of like being married already with out the actually marriage liscence. The only problem that can arise from living together before marriage is one or both may become so comfortable, they become life long boyfriend and girlfriend, and never go through with getting married. Other than that I think it is very good way to get to know the habits of a person you already love.

Well, I totally disagree... my boyfriend and I met on line, and emailed each other back an forth for about 2 months before we met and we have basically been living together since the day we actually met. I think that each person is different. But like he said, had he lived with his first wife before he got married... he would NEVER have married her. I think living with someone tells you a lot about compatability and each other quirks... I would highly suggest it to anyone!! I don't think that I would want to marry anyone before living with them... too many unknowns.

I was extremely disappointed in the comments made in regard to the woman harassed by Delta Airlines employees over the vibrator in her luggage.

Anyone with even a remedial education in sexuality knows that "sex toys", "marital aids" or whatever you want to call them-- can be healthy additions to any intimate relationship. The use of such toys does not represent any inadequacy on the part of either partner, nor does it relegate to unwarranted harassment.

Sexual aids have been around since the beginning of written history. I find it sad that in 2002, in the era of technology and information, that public personalities find it necessary to stigmatize anything that consensual adults would do in their private lives; especially something as innocuous as the use of a vibrator.

The viewpoints expressed by Valentine this morning were nothing short of adolescent and I certainly hope that his listeners are more enlightened than he is.

I hate this!! I finally found a morning show I loved, and it gets canceled. Aaarrr!:( I loved listening to the morning crew. I checked on why Val and crew were fired here in Tulsa on 92.1 Apparently the single reason was Clear Channel just didn't think they fit the station anymore. OMG!... Im so pissed about the morning show!.. I can't believe you'll were fired from 92.1... I can not believe those idiots did that!.. I started listening to 106.9, and then i moved to 92.1 and have been listening to it for the pass 2 years, the only reason i started listening to it was because of Valentine and the Morning crew!.. First off let me say that you guys have the absolute best radio show in the morning. All of you keep me laughing the whole way to work.
On Friday morning (July 19th) you guys were talking about putting together 1st pet names and 1st street names to get what would be your stripper name. I had to write to tell you that mine would have been B.J. West. But even better would be my husbands. His first dogs name was Lance and he lived on Arrowhead. Well its offical i took 92.1 kiss fm off my radio button and replace it with 101.5 the beat. it will never be as good as the kissfm old morning show but now that they have those fake freaks on there i am so boycotting the whole station. I think that we all need to stop listening and let the ratings drop let them feel the hurt and loss of there audience due them firing the valentine morning show. Who all is with me.

I just wanted to say good luck to Val, in trying to have a baby. I am a 20 year old student, with a very young mother! She had her second child at the age of 18, she had her tubes tied directly after giving birth to my brother.

At the age of 34, she decided she wanted to have a tubal reversal, because she wanted children with her new husband.It has been almost two years, and she still is not pregnant.I see how hard it is on my mother, and stepfather. Each month they both are hoping for a positive pregnancy test, and each month it just doesn't happen.I have seen the frustration, and hurt in both of their eyes.

I have never been in a situation where I have wanted a child so bad, so the only thing I can do is hope for my Mom to get what she really wants out of life, and to listen to her emotions, and feelings about trying to become pregnant.

Don't give up, it will come to you and your wife when the time is just right.

I am an active listener to your show. In fact I have never listened to any radio talk shows before, because I have always believed they were a waste of time. But, yours is fabulous. It's funny, up-lifting, and a great way to start the day.
However, there is one thing that bothers me about the comedy you put in the show. On several occations when joking around, you state that the individual is "psychotic" and needs to go on Prosac or Valium. Besides the fact that these are not anti-psychotic medications (they are anti-depressants and anti-anxiety meds), this statement has greatly downplayed serious medical diseases. I work in the medical field and come upon cases in which individuals need this medication. These people don't choose to have such illnesses, just like someone who gets cancer. Those that are strong enough to ask for help, may see huge positive results by using medications such as Provac and Valium. In fact, they have quite possibly prevented many horrible outcomes, including suicide. It is sad that your show must downplay this, possibly preventing listeners who need this help to be too embarrassed to ask for it.
Please take this message to heart. Your influence, can save thousands of lives.

Hey Val--love the show. Just a few quick comments on the whole Southwest Airlines thing. Everyone keeps commenting on how it is so unfair that heavier set people must buy two tickets. However, the story is only partially true. Southwest is charging the people the price of the ticket and then a partial price for the second seat. I think that it is a good idea. I mean, forget about the comfort issue for both parties involved, there is a safety issue here as well. If a situation were to arise and a larger person did not have the proper room to crouch down/cover their head, or if they did not have enough seat belt room, they could get seriously hurt, and potentially hurt others. I feel for these people, becuase it can not be fun to be that large and have people talk about you, but you must sacrifice this for the saftey and security of the passengers on the flight.

Hey Val,
I listen to your show every morning on the way to class and needless to say, I love it. I have to say this morning you gave some really good advice to someone. After reading an e~mail you recieved asking for advice on what to do in a relationship situation, I only hope she was listening when you replied.
The fact is you have to be happy with yourself as your own person before you decide to bring someone else into your life. That acceptance of yourself keeps you from "needing" or "having to have" someone.
This same advice was given to me a couple years ago and I think it helped me realize a lot. I'm glad it was passed along.

Ok, I was listening the other day and I tried caling in a million times! But anyway heres my game it's called "Jailbreak". First you need alot of people or at least 6. Then you split into to teams...criminals and cops...the criminals run and hide and the cops look for them (the game is best played outdoors) then if they are caught they go to jail but a member of their team can come and break into the jail and they have to yell "jailbreak" but a cop can protect the jail and catch the person trying to free his teammates. The game is over when everyone is caught, then you can switch sides and play again...it's alot of fun when you are playing in the dark outside like in the woods.

I absolutely LOVE your show. It is so nice to hear a guy stick up for single mom's. I have a wonderful 3 year old son and I am not out looking for a father for him. He has one! It drives me nuts that guys will check you out in the gym but the second you walk towards the kids room you become invisable. Oh well, there loss. My son is the greatest thing to ever come into my life and I thought I would tell you how he came to exist. I got a book at Books A Million called "so you want to get pregnant" I got pregnant the first time we tried it (definately use the Robitussin). After I was pregnant the doctors told me they don't know how I got pregnant at all let alone so eisly. With out getting tacky I had a fibroid (non cancerous) tumor the size of a grapfruite blocking the birth canal. Nothing should have gotten past that. So try the book, it is simple and it works. Good luck to you and your wife. Kids are the greatest blessing.

Hey Val, everyone should just leave Drew alone he is very very cute even with facial hair. So what he lives at home with his mom and dad. I do, sure I'm only 20 but intil I get a wedding band on my hand I plan to stay at home. I don't see anything bad about that. If you stay with mom and dad you do not have to pay for rent or food. You would have money for yourself. Maybe to save for a house, family, car, or for a education. Or you could be like me a use it all on yourself. So Drew not so bad liveing with his mom and dad nor dose that make him not cute for having facial hair. Drew stay the way you are!

If the exact amount of warm and cold water was set outside when the temperature was freezing, some of the warm water would evaporate. Because some of the water evaporated there would then be less of the warm water to freeze and it would freeze faster. But as for which boils faster I would say the warm water unless there was some kind of trick to it. I give credit for my explination to my chemistry teacher Mr. Lykins.

My ex husband left me one month before our second child was born. Raising two boys and working full time is a chore.
