yes it is ok.
she deserved the win. it's disgraceful to prey on a young lady who has dreamed of this opportunity.

So Davids daughter should not be able to compete because he is a LED? Wasn't the Phelps (Newberry?) girls mom a LED. I am sure there have been more, I just can't remember their names. I don't think they can compete for the LED's own pageant but can compete in another! Stop whining people! If you don't think it is fair then stop competing. This is not mandatory - it's not a draft. : )

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> Subject: Cool your jets, Lauren. I'm fairly certain that it's a MAO rule that you cannot be on a board, much less a LED, if your daughter is competing. But we know rules are ignored in SC. Even if it isn't a rule, a girl with a LED who has a daugther competing against her might suspect the LED's allegiance lies with the daughter and not the LED's titleholder.

Call Miss America they will let you know if you are that worried about a LED's daughter competing before you get on here and slam her. She is a great girl and will be fantastic at state and no I am not a family member. Just know she has what it take.
