Disagree. As a dance major, tap can be easily confused. I seen Sydney Sill who tapped and ran around on the stage a lot and was very showy. Then you had Sydney Ford who was an extremely technical tapper whom you could tell has been training most her life in tap. It goes for all genres of dance. You have extremely showy dancers who look good on stage, then you have technical dancers such as Rachel Wyatt. if it were a dance competition , which I know it's not, Ford would beat out Sill, and Rachel would beat out well, anybody really. Also thought Sills costume was too mature for teen. I was expecting to see her behind at any moment.
