The entire twitter world agrees . She was awful. That many people can’t be wrong. Literally have seen hundreds of the same comment about the winner. Maybe she’s a lovely person but her family and friends should have not allowed her to humiliate herself like that on a public stage . How quickly can she learn to clog? Why would they send someone with a poor talent to a national stage that scores talent so high? I’m confused and realllllly want to pull for her but I’m trying to understand how this judging works. And what’s the point in having judges judge score talent if it’s not done fairly. No way should she have received a high score for talent right? So if they scored talent honestly then mathematically how can she win still? I want to be a fan and always support my state just trying to make sense. After watching both Teen and Miss winners it is clear "caterwauling" is the new SC talent. It has nothing to do with who is the best, it's about who brings in the most money. What a joke! Good luck with all that at Nationals...but wait, we don't care about that either because at SC where "we" give away more money than Miss America...who cares if they get that title.
