Subject: What should have happened Author: Hopefully a future judge (Speechless) [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: Sunday, June 30, 02:08:59am Both the Miss and Teen pageants missed their marks for 2019. Sadly they were off by one person both nights. Ironic if you ask me. The dream team for Miss SC/ Teen would have been Morgan Romano and Julia Herrin. These two ladies would have excelled at Miss America/ MAOT and done our state proud. Sad to say for the first time in a long time I will not be looking forward to watching Miss America out of embarrassment for our state. Miss Clemson is well spoken, but somebody needs to teach her how to dance before Miss America because singing isn’t going to get her far. Julia is a nice girl, but unapproachable and non-relatable. There were several girls in the top 10 who not only deserved Top 5 recognition, but were better candidates. I did have Julia picked but I’m ok with my second pick winning because at least I know she was consistent in all phases and will be proud of her representing SC at the national level. As for miss I know Morgan is extremely bright and beautiful but I worry about the talent. But if there is one thing I know Miss SC is always great at preparing their girls for nationals. So I’m sure they will come up with a new talent to help her shine on all levels and make us all proud!
