No moose in Elkton -- no elk anymore, either. But, I did go kayaking yesterday, and startled a nice big beaver with a very handsome, gleaming coat! Of course, I didn't have my camera ... sigh. Maybe next time! My right arm has to recover, first. I had a strong headwind, on the paddle back, and it took me a good 15 minutes longer to get back from town, than it did to get to town, even 'tho I was traveling home 'with the tide'.
