For my first trick, I bring you -- ta daa -- daylight! Don't try much of anything with a flyer and medicine in the evening. Scoop SC's snuggly little self up out of her nest box in the morning, give her the meds, put her back in her nest box, and then return a half hour later for the second dose of meds. And, it might help to follow both doses of medicine with either a wax worm, or a very small piece of pecan or a pine nut (I'd go for the wax worm, 'cause she'll eat it right away, instead of deciding to store it for later. That's also why the piece of pecan should be small -- she'll be more likely to eat it right away ...). This will serve two purposes -- firstly, it will help the meds 'go down', and second, it will be something of a reward, for SweetCheeks' cooperation.

>I'm the last person to give you advice. I will tell
>you none of my flyers will allow me to hold them.
>they will sit on me and let me hold them that way,
>but if I had to hold them an force meds in their
>little mouth, I would need help for sure. Maybe
>Beverly or Tom has some tricks up their sleves.
