• My dd wore a bun wig in advanced beginner and a "school dress" and if memory serves there were some dancers in long wigs. I'm not sure about the rules either but personally a solo dress is better saved for novice at the earliest.           • The rule is you need 2 firsts - if both are achieved within one calendar year you can wait until January to move up, but if you get one in one year (let's say 2009) and the next in another year (2010) you have to move up the next feis (NT) -- hope that helps!, Tue, October 06, 11:05:15am

            • Re: Those were new dresses that had not been packed for being checked. They were wrapped in Garbage bags and some of the packing tape got caught in the conveyor belts and pulled the dresses into the rollers.
