Subject: The comps weren't big enough to warrant multiple ties from one judge
In reply to: bizarre results for too many 's message, "To me, it wasn't so much politics as lazy judging. It seemed like they were pulling numbers from a hat for so many of the comps. Feel bad for so many of the dancers whose dancing deserved better placings." on Mon, November 09, 11:41:34am

One comp alone had a judge give out the same placing for multiple dancers and they did if for a couple of different placings. When compared to the other marks these dancers received it was very evident the ties greatly impacted the overall results. Congrats to the competitors because they ALL work hard. Lots of things go into a result (some days are better than others, style preference etc.). It's just that lazy judging shouldn't be a factor on how a dancer does.
