          • The rule is you need 2 firsts - if both are achieved within one calendar year you can wait until January to move up, but if you get one in one year (let's say 2009) and the next in another year (2010) you have to move up the next feis (NT) -- hope that helps!, Tue, October 06, 11:05:15am

  • I can only offer the service where service exists. Everyone at this feis will tell you that you had to practically be outdoors to get a signal. I have now found one (well away from the photo booth) and all results are online. Also, perhaps you could consider that the service is free, and that I always what's possible to get the info out. • Personally I think they should be prepared to split the competition, but should wait until check in time to see how many dancers actually show up. • I believe there has always been only one trophy for first place - one for the reel, one for the slip jig. Part of the reason for this event is good preparation for the dancers attending the O for the first time this year. It gives them the chance at dancing on the bigger stage, 3 steps, and 3 judges.
