Subject: I think Buffalo is preferable. As much as Toronto to Buffalo can be messy, that route along the 401 towards Kingston is miserable, too many big trucks, too many curves, too dark, I really don't like it at night. The route 90E over to Syracuse to Syracuse is straighter, fewer cars, fewer trucks but more cops so watch your speed. If you aren't leaving till late you shouldn't have much trouble from here to Buffalo. It's also shorter that way. Cross at Fort Erie, it's almost always better than Queenston Lewiston. Call 18007156722 on your way and it will give you the best border to cross.
