  • Are there schools that allow adults to compete? I'm 22 and haven't competed for four years while I was in uni (though I've been dancing on a regular basis with other irish dancers at my uni). I was in prelims and placing well when stopped. I'd love to compete again but would I be allowed? Am I too old? Forgive my ignorance please :) -- in the Brantford area, willing to commute a bit to a school that would let me compete...thanks!!, Sat, August 01, 12:38:43pm

My dd is dancing in PC12 tomorrow, for those of you who can figure out the times could you give me an estimated time for this comp. to start, also PC12S?
And judging by these times could anyone estimate what time these comps. will be over at, leaving an hour for results I would like to be home by 5pm. Not a big deal I was just wondering how early I should get up to drive the almost 3 hours it might take to get there.
Oh and what the heck is PC10M? Never heard of the M before!

I am sending this out once more asking for my friends to do me a great favor and vote both today and tomorrow

It is for a your girl to win a custom made Elevation dress .

Her name is Molly and she is one of six children . Four of them dance and we all know how much that cost for just one.

She is in such a very very tight race which ends tomorrow . If you would just take a second and go to the site and put a check mark beside her #4 and then go down to where it says vote under video 10 ..

But also make sure to watch the video as it is very funny indeed .

Ok here is the site .

    http://irishdancing.com/?q=idmtv

I thank you all very much and you will make this young girl very happy if she wins.

If you would not mind to pass that on to every one on your mail list this will surely help Molly

    God Bless

    Sean and Anya

  • Barrie/Orillia question? -- HIMID, Tue, July 28, 05:36:53pm
My m-i-l insists there is something going on in either Orillia or Barrie this weekend, she thinks it's a feis, I know it's not but is there some kind of festival this weekend, she also mentioned something about a Casinorama event too.
I know Lord of the Dance is coming in October, not to mix it up with that.
Anyone up that way know anything? I think it's the Woodgate/Shamrock school that is up there.

    Hi All,
I have just rebuilt the website over the last week after managing to lose it (again, oops!). There are five recent OTRs listed, although not all of the photos are up yet. The ones that are works in progress can be modified for fit and design somewhat, so if you have any questions please ask.
I also lost some of the used dress listings. I hope this doesn't create a large problem for anyone, but if you have a dress listed, please check your info to make sure it is correct. If the ad is gone it will have to be resent to list again. Sorry about that.
