• Changing schools is traumatic no matter what anyone says. There may be 1 reason why but there are usually many and hurt feelings will likely result. Our move was horrendous with gossip and cruelty I can't begin to express. We are so much happier now but the journey taught us many things about people in this sport. Happily we were supported by some in the region but the shunning from the old school was painful. • Seems like the onus is on the judge to recognize the conflict in advance - I think it should be up to the organizing committee to plan better ¬ have ads with conflicts or plan accordingly -- Same happened on prelim set stage, Mon, October 01, 11:39:12am

• I'm not sure it's possible to anticpate conflicts when creating a stage schedule. While having the same judge seems to bother people it did allow for fewer delays. Last year the big complaint was waiting on judge changes due to conflicts. In the end, the feis ran smoothly and quickly which was great! (NT) -- Ecr Mom, Thu, October 04, 09:46:56am

• Unless your Teacher allows you to get whatever you like and want for your dancer, it is best to check with them regarding where to buy and what style and colour best suits your dancer. Ours changes what she wants every year. I also find that the full wigs do not stand up to pins and tiaras for very long. I buy a new one every year as they get ratty looking!
