Subject: I cannot comment on the results as i was not there BUT no matter what the region, it is very typical for the host school to get more winners. Some feis are worst than others with one in particular in the ECR which always have dancers win at their feis and not at others. It might be corruption or just that the judges invited are friends with the TCor just like the steps of that particular school. Who knows. If you think for one minute the Judges do not know which school the dancers are from, you are either new to this sport or very naive
In reply to: Talk about sour grapes! 's message, "Not a sore loser? Who are YOU to judge whether a dancer deserved a win or not? Are you an adjudicator? They have very specific things they are looking for that aren't necessarily what a "layman" might be looking for. The adj. don't even know which school a dancer is from. Did u see PC/OC? Most of the winners were from Ohio and Michigan, not Chatham." on Sun, February 21, 01:15:56pm
