Subject: It's not fair to criticize them for going to a feis the week prior - they are teachers and adjudicators first. Also, this is the only winter GTA ECR feis, which we're extremely grateful for, and hope it does continue to run. Communication could have made this feis successful: A proper stage schedule with numbers and a NOW/NEXT grid at every side stage would help set parents/dancers expectations. more inside...
In reply to: Time management help needed 's message, "I was surprised by the fact that a week before their feis they were on a feis bus trip. We are so busy the week before - could never imagine going a feis bus trip that close to the feis." on Wed, March 09, 07:25:47pm

Also, perhaps a volunteer could consistently tweet when comps have started. Communication seems to have been the biggest issue around this feis. Af for judging, people will always complain and should keep their thoughts off the board (where they do no good but to stir up trouble and cause entire threads to be deleted) and to themselves. This is a political sport. It always will be. Sadly it's part of it, but we all accept that. No point whining anonymously.
