I think I'll always credit C-slam for giving a young kid (I believe I was about 15 or so) the confidence to write. Not that I'm a pro writer now or anything, but I think the lessons learned in C-slam served me well throughout high school and college, and probably even today when I have to create a document or a report at work. Most friends, classmates, and co-workers cringe when they're given the task of generating a couple of pages of writing. I don't sweat it. Are you kidding me? Back when I was 15, I would crank out 30 pages of roleplay text for a single match on a Saturday! And you're giving me two weeks to write a 5 page policy? Pfft.. I'll have it on your desk in an hour or two!

Anyway.. I poke my head in here every now and then. Good to see you guys are alive and kicking. Funny how it appears that the remaining folks are the ones that were here back when Zippo started it as nothing more than an OOC forum for our fed (CCW right?). I used to have a blast chatting on ICQ with you guys. I still remember how difficult it was to tell if Widow was "in character" or not at any given time, even in private chat. And then one day I guess he got his chat windows confused and accidentally revealed his other character to me. Even when I turned on him to join the High Court, I kept that secret!
