 Maureen, that is simply diverting attention away from the power-mad SNU.
About 20 years ago the then hierarchy of the SNU changed the rules to arrange a circular catch-all set up that kept themselves in a position of coming out on top in every dispute.
They even attempted to abolish the 'liberty of interpretation' basis of the Principles, favouring instead a mandatory doctrinal approach.
I remember asking two proponents of this view as to who, then, would become Spiritualisms first Pope?
