Not everyone who is in spiritualism is as you ascertain. Yes there are those who are egotistical and crave for power but many times in life they can be brought down by Spirit. You may not believe this but i have seen this happen. As the 7 principles being native American precepts,that is not likely because many Indian tribes regarded Nature and the Earth as mother and the sky as father. They watched animals and used them as symbols of behaviours. They had the young men of the tribe went on vision quests to find their purpose in life. The oglalla souix for example have ceremony called the sun dance in which the men impaled them selves with pegs to a structure within a tipi. They would enter into a trance and the ultimate was to free them selves from their bonds as warriors. The stars and the universe were important in their philisophy and storytelling in which truths are stated are the supreme way of teaching. Yes! thye believed in the great Mystery or Waken Tanka. Their adherence to living in balance in Nature we should be trying now. By the way differnet Indian tribes did have skimishes with each other they did not always live in idealic harmony with their neighbours.
