 I know the Souix were not the only tribe that fought each other. BYe the way repeating someone els.s arguements is not very original. The Indian Nations fought their neighbours as they spread over the continent. If they were all the same why could they not live with each other? Sometimes it seems as all humans differences were made paramount. As an example of tradition not all regarded tobacco as sacred. The Native AMericans never had a concept of the Land being a commodity but was regarded as Mother. It was the US Goverment who made treaties with the indigenous people who were betrayed.
