After the film, I asked WHY the Indian and Chinese guys did not offer their help.
Taxi drivers are in general, not very educated and when they see a tourist they have the "image" that the person is rich. Here, people who are drunk sometimes fall on the side of the road or under a coconut tree. People don't do anything because after some time they regain their composure and walk back home.
The Chinese guy did not want to bring the man to the hospital in his own car because he could get into big trouble. If he brought a drug addict to the hospital would also mean that he was also involved in the drug business. The police would then do a landing, investigation etc in his hotel. I believe that is why he said the man was "stupid" again and again. I think that he choose the "safer" way for him by calling an ambulance.
May be if the guy was not considered to be drunk or a drug addict, the story could have been different.
The videos of the "New world order" helped me to see beyond what is being said and put before us and try to think objectively.
