I see that spiritualistchatroom.com has closed down because of nasty people putting on very bad things on there.
YET AGAIN we see people are trying to destroy spiritual people and spiritualists. All who go in for this sort of nastiness should read on, because the police and big names in the internet industry are trying to clean it all up.
It is now known that each individual computer can be pin pointed through many different ways as the technology is becoming better, very sophisticated and more accurate.
I would advise anyone who is becoming a target to copy the words, putting down the date, time, the forum and the Web Master at the time as these can change over time also any other details that might be thought relevant.
Try to contact the Web Master to get any information that they might be able to give at the time.
Web libel victim wins record £100K YES £100,000.
Thursday, April 3, 2008 The target of a smear campaign has been awarded £100,000, thought to be the biggest ever win for an internet libel case.
Peter Walls suffered a barrage of allegations and threats from a rival businessman's anonymous website.
The abuse came from Dadsplace.co.uk,
Dadsplace made its claims using chatrooms and newsletters.
They included allegations of female workers getting promoted in exchange for sexual favours and corruption.
'No amount of money can compensate my family for the distress these outrageous and false statements have caused,' Mr Walls said outside the High Court.
'What was particularly frightening was we didn't know who was doing this.'
For more than two years, Dadsplace subjected the 55-year-old and his Sunderland housing company to 'a relentless campaign of harassment', Mr Tomlinson said.
The site was linked to John Finn, another Sunderland businessman, and his company Pallion Housing.
It was closed in 2006 but only last October did Mr Finn admit his involvement. Pallion has to pay costs and nearly £20,000 extra to others targeted in the slur.
'The internet can be a fantastic tool,' said Mr Walls. 'But we need urgent change to enable victims of internet abuse to have a quicker and more effective route to justice.'
Web Masters also have resposibilities and need to look after them far more vigourously, they cannot avoid their resposibility.
The Law Lords will be looking at this in more detail.
