What amazed me was that even though the financial world was in collapse and tens of thousands were losing their jobs, some greedy souls were still "short trading" to drive the price of the stocks down even further, so they could buy them even cheaper and make even more money from the misfortunes of their colleagues, even risking the total collapse of banking the world over.
Your little red riding hood post struck a chord, as we have all been brainwashed from an early age to react to competition and the world at large in a certain way.
I have recalled that in general, I try to view women as equals but...
I was watching a programme on TV about trainee fighter pilots on a course to learn how to fly the F18 Hornet.
One of these cadets was female, and to my shame have just realised that I felt somehow more satisfaction when she failed a test than I did her male counterparts.
This must be a deeply embedded discrimination that I was unaware of.
Something else that I need to work on.
Thanks Maryse, your post has given me more pause for introspection and hopefully, eventually another nail in the coffin lid of my ego.
No doubt as with every other spiritual test, I will fail often, but I will try to alter my perception.
