Air Lehigh is really a commitment to a spread style offense vs. Coen's initial emphasis on a power running game.

Air Lehigh actually generated strong run yardage, but the runs were typically by a scat-back out of the spread formation (think Jean, Pugh, Rath).

Air Lehigh under Lembo also usually included a pretty solid defense.

It was interesting to watch Lehigh, under Coen, move away from a spread offense (with resultant poor offensive results)while most of college football was moving in the other direction.

Hopefully Coen has seen the light and better days are ahead .
