We are getting ready and we need a queen. The Fall Festival Queen's pageant will be held Saturday, August 25,2012. Applications will be available August 1. We will be having the Queen and Teen pageants on Sat. and there will be Junior Miss, Little Miss, and Wee Miss pageants on Sunday afternoon, August 26th. All applications must be received by Monday, August 20th. Entry is $50.00 for Queen, $35.00 for Teen, and $25 for the Jr., Little, and Wee Miss pageants. Prize package for the Queen will include a $500.00 scholarship to the college of your choice, $250.00 clothing allowance for the state pageant, full paid trip to the WVAFF state pageant in Charleston, photo package, Jesse Marsh sash, trophy, crown, and lots of nice gifts. Pageant is open to ladies from Nicholas, Webster, Greenbrier, Fayette,and Clay counties. Look for applications in the Nicholas Chronicle and Webster Co. papers. Jr. Miss-9,10,11, and 12 (If they turn 13 before Jan. 1, 2013, they will be in the teen pageant) Little Miss-6,7, and 8. (If they turn 9 before Jan. 1, 2013, they will run in the Jr. Miss pageant. Wee Miss-3,4, and 5. Same as the others, if she turns 6 before Jan.1, 2013, then she will run for the Wee Miss. At this time, this is the lowest age we are doing.
