They have got to find a way to get Vegotsky more minutes. He is looking great. When they are playing a small opponent, it would be interesting to see Vegotsky start instead of Mastropaolo.

Also, Vetgotsky and Griffin's play is a good sign for next year. Right now, replacing Bettencourt and Lee with Vegotsky and Griffin does not like it will be a huge step down for the Bison.

Griffin and Vegotsky will no doubt see a lot of playing time next year. However, I doubt they would both start against a number of teams. Starting three guards all 6'2" or less would be a problem against our stronger opponents, especially when none are strong rebounders (Griffin's performance today notwithstanding). Although you could get away with three short starters vs Army, Navy, and a couple of other PL teams, I think against the stronger teams that Lee's replacement will come from among Brown, John Clark (assuming he makes a miraculous recovery from his foot ailments), and, later in the season, one of the incoming freshmen (Behan, Evans, and Tyree). Tyree is listed as a guard (6'3" - 6'4")but is very strong and athletic and could play the 3 the way Lee has. If Flannery were to pull off the longshot of landing Nash, then he might get into the running as well, since he is likely better than the other recruits.

dont look now, but jason vegotsky is leading the patriot league in points per minute. hes currently pouring in 25.6 per 40.

as for next year, its pretty scary to not be terribly worried about losing two multiple all-league performers in bettencourt and lee. between griffin and vegotsky we can replace bettencourts overall offensive production, if not his clutch shooting, at the 2. lee, obviously, is harder to replace. its hard to predict how things will break down at this point, but i think brown will get the starts there.
