I'm not sure what your agenda is or if you really have any Bucknell affiliation. However, I read the HC board all the time (and often post on it) and I have found most of their posters to be fair-minded and reasonable. Do they root for HC? Of course. Is HC hoops the emphasis of their board? Of course - it is their board! However, I think most of the posters there have great respect for the Bison team and what they have done. Many also recognize that, in the long run, Bison success will help lift up the whole league. Similarly, HC success (such as their NIT win at Notre Dame last year) helps the whole league. BTW, I don't think there was any criticism on their board for us losing badly to Duke and only beating American by 8, your statement notwithstanding. Recently, there was also a large amount of praise on their Board how the Bison players came across on "The Season".

As to your analysis of HC, I think you are forgetting that that their two all-league players, Hamilton and Simmons, both dealt with injuries throughout the first six weeks of the season. Plus they lost a key guard (Doherty) due to injury. As of right now, they are a very dangerous team and deserve our respect. A post like yours is just way offbase.

Wouldn't Bucknell love to have a fan base as passionate as HC's? It is growing and the enthusiasm has made a leap in the wake of last year, but between the end of the Woollum era and last season, there has been a lot of apathy, despite consistently having a solid team.

Are some of the posters on their board letting their purple kool aid cloud their judgement? Sure, and why not. That is their team.

But my experience with them has been that they are knowledgable, passionate fans that any team ought to be happy to have. If every team in the league had those types of fans, the league would be a lot stronger in many ways.
