Wouldn't Bucknell love to have a fan base as passionate as HC's? It is growing and the enthusiasm has made a leap in the wake of last year, but between the end of the Woollum era and last season, there has been a lot of apathy, despite consistently having a solid team.

Are some of the posters on their board letting their purple kool aid cloud their judgement? Sure, and why not. That is their team.

But my experience with them has been that they are knowledgable, passionate fans that any team ought to be happy to have. If every team in the league had those types of fans, the league would be a lot stronger in many ways.

gotta put my 2 cents in as well. many BU fans as well as fans of other PL schools have figured out that the HC board is the one place you can go to find a constantly updating discussion of PL hoops. the BU board until recently could go weeks without a post, and even now does not begin to compare to the HC board. my point is this, a lot of us figured this out and started posting on the HC board, and the folks over there have been nothing but gracious, and welcoming to us. if they are excited about the prospects of their team possibly beating BU, it is because they should be. they have a good, well coached team that has underachieved this year due to injuries, but now appears to be rounding into form, and they should be excited. i see nothing in the demeanor of the HC fans on their board that warrants your venom.
