Grid-Iron is a Football management game. It's pretty new so I doubt many of you heard about it. I've been playing for a good month and I still find it challenging and fun. And as the times are what they are it's also good that it's completely free.
The game is what I call an Open system game. Meaning that you can play against everyone in the world. It's got all you would expect from a management game - control over players (you can buy, sell, fire and train them), create formations and watch the game live through a play-by-play viewer, build up your stadium, build facilities (plus each facility has some upgrades), chat with other managers...
