i am buoyed by quote from PL media day regarding Abe Badmus being a key to the season and his developement in the offseason. could view singling him out as a key as putting pressure on him, but i assume this is an indicator of a great deal of confidence in him. if he can take his game up a level from last year, that really strengthens the team.

said he is shooting the ball very well. last year his FG% wasn't bad, but i thought his shot did not look good and his FT% was not good. if he is a reasonable scoring threat i.e. defense can't just back off him, hits a good % of FTs, and takes are of the ball, this team could be one of BU's best ever. (wow, i sound a bit like Dan, and normally i am very reticent to set high expectations).

indeed.........I think I am excited because I have seen Pat coach teams that, quite frankly, were not in any way athletic. I remember what a great athlete Mike Bright was suppose to be!!! The Bison have at least 6 guys right now who are more athletic than Bright.

My point is that Flannery has always managed .500 records with less than a full compliment of even low D1 talent....Coach now has the tools to compete.

Further, one senior on this year's team (Chris) will be a role player at best......I see a conference championship this year and next year? Ponder this.....Nova and St. Joe's in Lewisburg........That is exciting.
