Everybodies got one, the flimsy pretty painted hunk of plastic that that all the slide levers are inside of. Ever price one of them puppies out at a dealership or even on EBAY for that matter? $40+ seems to be the going rate. I know I have already done this as well as others...reaching over to turn up the heat and hit a bump...oops..finger through the lens. Wondering if this idea would work.
*Scan the little cover plate on a high resolution color scanner- we have one of them here at the office...Aaron would have to do it for me though..lol.
What if you did a high dpi (is that right) print out on mylar (clearish plastic film in the drafting business). Do you thinkit would work? Mine is all there, although it has a nice shiny surface due to being over meticulous laying packing tape strip over it...and piecing in the rest of the pieces with tweezers. LOL Sorry this isnt the most intereting of posts...but I had to know.
