ITS HARD TO SAY WITHOUT SEEING THE SURFACE OF THE BLOCK AND HEADS. THESE V6S HAVE PROBLEMS WITH 1 AND 6 CYLINDERS. EVERYONE SAY ITS A GASKET PROBLEM, BUT I THINK ITS POOR DESIGN. THE WATER PASSAGE IS TOO CLOSE TO THE EDGE OF THE CYLINDER AND THE GASKET BRAKES CAUSEING WATER TO GET INTO THE COMBUTION CHAMBER. SO WHEN YOU DO THE HEAD GASKETS AGAIN
PAY CLOSE ATTENSION TO FLATNESS TO THE DECK OF THE BLOCK AND HEAD. AND INSTALL TOYOTA UPDATED HEAD GASKET. GOOD LUCK YOU'LL NEED IT.
Yup. I just blew my third head gasket on my 3VZE. The
