Prestone must be making an aftermarket product to substitute for it (GM DexCool, NOT Toyota's).
Toyota red does not claim to last 5 years or 100,000 miles BTW.
Your manual will tell you to change it every two or three years, unlike
GM, which claims theirs is good for 100,000+ miles, in their vehicles.
So actually, GM has not come around to Toyota's formula, they are different formulas
altogether. I am not sure but someone said you can use dexcool in your yote, I would
make damn sure they are compatible before I used it.
