This beach is in a cove, entered from the next beach to the north and with no exit to the south. The sunbeds and taverna end are closest to the entrance, and they extended to the beginning of the shrubbery. Opportunities for walking are limited as although the beach has sandy patches, the part closest to the water mainly consists of slabs of sharp edged rock and difficult to walk on.

Therefore walking along the waters edge is not possible. Many people do potter about in the rock pools, but an actual stroll is out of the question. There are a couple of 'easy' access points to get into the sea and swim, but the pebbles under the water are not what I would call comfortable to walk on.

The main advantages of this beach is that it is well established, the taverna is very welcoming and not too expensive, and there is a very pleasant atmosphere amongst the sun bed area.

Hope this helps, as it is a long way to go to be disappointed. I have been trying to think of a Greek beach that would better fit the bill for you and your wife. The best I can come up with would be Paleochora on South West Crete. There is a long sandy beach, with some scope for shorter nude walks, and we walked from there to Sougia along the cliff path, most of which we managed to do naked (but it took us almost 6 hours!!!). Fortunately there is a ferry to get back, but you have to be dressed to use it!

Hope you have a great holiday, wherever you choose to go.
