Call me a cynic, and apologies if you think I'm being nasty because I truly am not, but..... is it REALLY necessary to use a GPS to find a beach? I travel a lot all over UK and Europe and have yet to find a decent map and compass lacking. I have found the textual descriptions on this site more than adequate up til now.... I suppose I managed to find beaches before computers but hey look at me now ;-)
