Date Posted: Sat, August 22 2009, 18:26:29 I am stuck in my hotel in Andros and i feel a bit cheated. I came to Andros because it is close to Rafina by ferry and because i wanted to try something new. The place has no naturism at all on any beaches and by that I mean not even topless ladies, what is more it is also rather prudish compared to other islands (i understand greek that is how i know). I heard a discussion between local about how they drove naturism away from this island for "moral" reasons?? It seems to be a church ispired thing on Andros. It is a definite no no, and even wearing speedos on men is frowned upon it seems ???!! Give Andros and Tinos a miss. I want to stress that this is not a uniform stance by all greeks, I would say there are some prudish no-go zones. On my blacklist are, southern peloponese, tinos, andros The good places are: Tsamadou beach in Samos is the best place, naxos is not bad either around Plaka.
