Date Posted: Sat, February 25 2012, 16:57:08 In reply to: Hazydaze 's message, "Southern Crete" on Fri, February 24 2012, 18:20:35 Mrs Eros and I visited Kommos Beach in September 2010 and would agree it is a wonderful beach, one our favourites. On the same holiday we stayed at Agois Pavlos and the beach is excellent with its great sand dunes down to the beaches. As I recall there are two beaches. The one with loungers had textiles the one immediately to the north had a number of naturists. Worth (nude) walking half a mile north for lunch at the taverna just south of Triopetra. We visited Triopetra a few years ago and though it is a pretty stretch of beach, we preferred Kommos. Ligres we have not been to but will do so this September as we are staying at Ag Fotini nearby for a couple of days. So in conclusion I would say Ag. Pav is worth the visit.
